Every third year, Nordlek arranges the Nordic folk dance and folk music festival named NORDLEK. The location of this festival is rotated among the Nordic countries.
Further, festivals for children and youths up to 16 years of age, BARNLEK, are also arranged every third year. The location of these festivals is also rotated among the Nordic countries.
Some years, Nordlek also arranges smaller festivals. Such festivals have been arranged in Iceland (ISLEK), the Faroe Islands (HAVLEK), Greenland (GRÖNLEK) and Åland (ÅLEK).
In addition, Nordlek arranged Nordic culture congresses, seminars, and many other activities.
